Foods (like grape skin flour and grapeseed oil) can carry the SIP Certified seal on their packaging when they are made with at least 85% SIP Certified fruit as verified by an inspection.

Overview and Deadlines
The SIP Certified seal can be used on any food made with at least 85% certified fruit. Processors should schedule and complete inspections after final production and be sure to allow adequate lead time for the processor to incorporate the logo on the labels.
Complete and submit the following to staff (5915 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422) and your inspector:

- Food Certification Agreement (new applicants)
Inspector will randomly select 20% of the applied for food and contact you for documentation. See the SIP Certified Food Inspection Report for the list of documentation that you will provide to the inspector.
Eligibility and Certification
Once received from the inspector, inspection reports are blinded and then reviewed by the Certification Advisory Committee (CAC) to determine eligibility within five business days. You will be notified of SIP Certified eligibility within five business days of CAC vote. Final certification is granted upon payment of certification fees and submission of final processing records.
