SIP Certified – Wrath Wines

Wrath Wines represent a nexus of nature and an unbridled passion for wine making. The Thomas family bought San Saba Vineyards in late 2007 and has set out to dramatically change the estate’s wine and viticulture. Wrath is the brainchild of co-owner and wine director Michael Thomas. Michael works closely with his mother Barbara, Wrath’s other owner. Michael combines passion for wine with years of working with soil as an archaeologist. California vineyards and wineries are encouraged to apply for the 2016 California Green Medal: Sustainable Winegrowing Leadership Awards. Applications are now being accepted at www.greenmedal.org. The California Green Medal is presented by California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, California Association of Winegrape Growers, Lodi Winegrape Commission, Napa Valley Vintners, Sonoma County Winegrowers, The Vineyard Team and Wine Institute. More than a dozen regional winery and winegrowing association partners are also involved in promoting the new awards.
