Join a panel of seasoned social media marketers from both the wine and non-wine industries as they discuss strategies for social media wins. 

Tamara Bingham, Marketing Manager, Jackson Family Wines

Tamara Bingham is an experienced professional with almost 10 years of wine industry proficiency in sales, marketing, brand management, public relations and event planning. In 2011 Tamara moved from her hometown of Los Angeles to Paso Robles, California where she spent 3 years managing wineries inclusive of everything from tasting room operation to wine club administration. While working full-time, she earned an MBA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In 2014, after graduating from Business School, she moved to Dallas, Texas where she worked as a District Sales Manager for Francis Ford Coppola Winery for two years.

Tamara moved back to California and joined J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines in 2016 as a Marketing Manager where she was responsible for print and digital advertising, national events, and influencer strategy for three years. In December 2019, Tamara transitioned to a new role as Marketing Manager with Jackson Family Wines. She enjoys everything about life on the Central Coast with her husband and their adorable dog.

Danielle Cox, Social Media Manager, J. Lohr

Danielle Cox is a Marketing professional with experience in both the technology and wine industries. After 10 years of contributing to the advancement of a leading Silicon Valley technology firm, she was inspired to follow her passion for the wine industry and joined J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines in 2017. Danielle began her tenure as the Sponsorship & Donations Coordinator. In this role, she managed strategic community and philanthropic partnerships with organizations such as The National Breast Cancer Foundation, The Napa Valley Film Festival and Cinequest, among others. Staying true to her digital roots, Ms. Cox also launched the company’s online donation system that has allowed for J. Lohr’s support of, and engagement with, the community and those in need.

In December 2018, Danielle transitioned into her current role as J. Lohr’s Public Relations & Social Media Manager where she is responsible for guiding social media outreach, the oversight of digital marketing strategy, and the advancement of the winery’s digital campaign development. Danielle’s efforts continue to contribute to J. Lohr’s leadership as an industry leader across all social media platforms and initiatives.

Danielle is WSET Level 2 Certified and she enjoys the small town life, currently living in San Juan Bautista, CA with her son Austen.

Megan Leon, Social Media Consultant

Megan León has 8 years of experience in social media marketing working for a variety of clients. Originally a trained Microbiologist, Megan began to transition out of lab work into social media with the arrival of her first child in 2011. Megan specializes in Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn. With follower growth and engagement in mind, Megan develops and curates content to suit the needs of her diverse clients. Current accounts include the popular general interest and craft blog Skip to my Lou as well as Twist Bioscience, a publicly traded biotech biotechnology company headquartered in San Francisco.

Megan currently lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and two children and enjoys the sunny California weather.
