3 Steps to Prepare
To ensure you get an accurate invoice and certification documents, please complete the following.
- Add sip-app-no-reply@sipcertified.org to your email contacts (so your documents don't go to
spam!). - Add a Billing Address (tutorial).
- Update your Blocks, Varieties, & Acres (vineyards) and Gallons (wineries) (tutorial).
- These details populate on your certification letter to show what you certified this year.
- They are also used to calculate your invoice total.
August
Eligibility & Invoicing
Eligibility Letters and Invoices are sent via email to the property’s main contact(s) (tutorial), or the email address listed on the Property’s Billing Address.
If you don’t receive your items:
- Check your spam folder.
- Download from the database (tutorial).
- Email whitney@vineyardteam.org.
September
Sept 20 | Invoice Payments Due
Invoice payments are due September 20.
Please make checks payable to Vineyard Team. Checks made out to SIP Certified will be returned with a request to reissue the check to Vineyard Team.
Certification Letters
Certification Letters are sent via email upon receipt of invoice payment.
SIP Tip: Letters from 2021 forward can be downloaded from the database (tutorial).
October - November
Maintain Practices
SIP Certified practices must be maintained through November 30 in order to remain certified.
December
Dec 1 | Renew
SIP Certified renewals are due December 1, 2024. It only takes a few clicks to renew (tutorial)!
Dec 5 | Year-Ends Due
Year-Ends are due December 5:
- Vineyards:
- 9.1.2 Pesticide Use Reports (June/July – Nov.)
- Chapter 14 Water and Nitrogen Use Reports
- Keep an eye out for the webinar sign-up later this year.
- Wineries:
- 11.3.4 Noise Testing (every 3 years)
