Regional Water Quality Control Board Region 3 Agricultural (Ag) Order 4.0 (No. R3-2021-0040) applies to owners and operators of irrigated lands used for commercial crop production.

The Order requires farmers to submit their annual Total Nitrogen Applied (TNA) or Irrigation and Nutrient Management Plan (INMP) Summary reports.

These extensive reports detail nitrogen applied to the ranch through irrigation, compost, and fertilizer applications; and nitrogen removed through harvest, sequestration, or other removal methods.

SIP Certified has partnered with Preservation Inc to submit TNA and INMP reports on behalf of members subject to the Order.

Over the past two years of providing this regulatory relief, SIP Certified has submitted 324 reports representing 60,149 acres.

How to Participate

To participate in this regulatory relief opportunity, your:

• Vineyard must be SIP Certified
• Vineyard must be located in Region 3
• AGL must be 100% wine grapes
• AW, AGL, and APN(s) must be added to the database
