Update Blocks, Varieties, and Acres (BVAs) and Gallons

The Blocks, Varieties, and Acres (BVAs - vineyards) and Gallons (wineries) listed in the database will appear on your certification letter this summer to show what you have certified.

These details are also used to calculate your certification invoice.

If your BVAs and Gallons have changed from last year, you will need to update them so your certification letter and invoice for this year are accurate.

This tutorial will show you how.

 

BVAs (Vineyards)

  • Log in
  • Click on Properties
  • Click the name of your Property

Ranches

  • Once inside your Property, click on Ranches (left)

Add a New ranch

  • Use the green button to Add New Ranch
  • Enter your details
    • Please note, if you are in California Regional Water Quality Control Board Region 3 and you would like to participate in Regulatory Relief for Ag Order 4.0, you will need to enter your AW, AGL, and APNs for each of the Ranches you would like TNA reports submitted for (tutorial).
  • Click the green button to Add Ranch

Update an Existing Ranch

  • Click the name of a Ranch
  • Edit your details
  • Click the green button to Save Changes
     

Blocks and Acres

  • Once inside your property, clilck on Blocks and Acres (left)

Add a New Block

  • Use the green button (right) to Add New Block
  • Enter your details
  • Click the green button to Submit

Edit an Existing Block

  • Click on the name of a Block
  • Edit your details
  • Click the green button to Submit
     

Use the Template: Update Everything at Once

The BVAs template will replace everything currently in your Ranches, and Blocks and Acres sections. It is a great tool for quickly making changes to a large number of Blocks and Acres.

  • Select the year you'd like to edit
  • Click the green button (left) to Upload From .xls
  • Click the link to use this Excel template
  • Update the template with all Ranch, Block, Varietal, and Acre information
    • Please note, Varietals must match exactly as they are listed on the "Varietals" Sheet
    • Please ensure the vintage year on the spreadsheet matches the year you selected on the Blocks and Acres page
  • Save your template
  • Return to the database, and under "Upload," click the gray button to Choose File
  • Select your file and click Open
  • Click the green button to Upload
     

Gallons (wineries)

  • Log in
  • Click on Properties
  • Click the name of your Property
  • Click on Gallons (left)

Add Gallons

  • Under "Add Gallons Record," set the date for the current year and enter your previous year's crush gallons
  • Click the green button to Save

Edit Gallons

  • Click on a year
  • Enter the previous year's crush gallons
  • Click the green button to Save
