Giving Back, SIP Style
December 4, 2025
As we wrap up another year, we’re reminded that the most meaningful investments are the ones made in people and communities.
For our final Marketing Tip of 2025, we’re shining a spotlight on two members who invest in the wellbeing of their communities year-round.
The Many Ways Foxen Gives
A strong sense of community is at the heart of Foxen Vineyards and Winery, evidenced by the friends and family who make up the team.
They extend this energy even further, touching the lives of people throughout their local area.
All year long, Foxen supports organizations that aim to improve the health and livelihood of people in need.
Recipients range from people facing hardship from natural disasters (Direct Relief), those battling cancer (Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara), members of the LGBTQIA+ community (Santa Ynez Valley Pride, Pacific Pride Foundation), and more.
Nine months out of the year, Foxen dedicates a portion of proceeds from promotional campaigns to support one or two local organizations. For example, during the months of April and May, they donate $1 for every bottle sold of their rosé of Pinot Noir to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County.
On top of these regular pledges, they support other local organizations by participating in and donating to their fundraising events.

Niner’s Generous Employees
| “When you operate a business in a small town, it is important to reinvest in the community that supports you. - Andrew Niner, President of Niner Wine Estates |
Andy Niner, President of Niner Wine Estates, sees great value in getting his staff involved in giving back to their community.
Employees are given the opportunity to allocate $2,000 each year to any charity of their choice. Niner said as well as giving staff ownership and a meaningful stake in the community, these staff-directed donations show him what his staff are passionate about and help to raise his own awareness of deserving charities.
But Niner knows that charitable donations go beyond monetary gifts. Every month, his staff volunteer to prepare and serve meals through the El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO). Niner appreciates that his team can have a direct and impactful experience giving back to their community.
