Get Certified in 2025

posted: March 14, 2025

Are you farming your vineyard and processing your wine sustainably but don’t have the certification to show it?

Make 2025 the year you get SIP Certified.

SIP Certified shows that you implement strict, measurable practices that protect human and nonhuman resources while enhancing economic vitality.

“More and more, we’re being asked about our sustainability efforts in the vineyard and winery.

Being SIP Certified is an easy way for us to quantify our practices and tell the consumer and trade about how we run our operation in a way that’s better for the land, the wine and the community.”

– Austin Hope, Hope Family Wines

Certification applies to the vintage within which the Standards’ practices were audited.

Bonus! Certify Your Wines

Any wine made with at least 85% SIP Certified fruit (estate or purchased) can apply to use the logo.

Whether you grow your own SIP Certified grapes, purchase them, or purchase bulk wine made from certified grapes, you can start an application any time.

As we market to distributors and buyers we are constantly referring to our SIP Certified certification. Buyers are looking for wines that have responsible farming practices, are aware of environmental issues, and, of course, are of high quality.

The SIP Certified program has added value to our wines allowing us to demonstrate our ability to fulfill all of the desired criteria that buyers look for.”
