Central Coast winemakers celebrate their harvest and international acclaim

posted: October 27, 2022

Late summer is harvest season for winegrapes on California's Central Coast. Cherish Whyte of New Times SLO recently wrote an article covering several topics of interest for wine producers and enthusiasts in the region, including the surge in sustainable initiatives globally, and nominations for several of Wine Enthusiast's 2022 Wine Star Awards. Did you know that the new SLO Coast AVA is in the running for Wine Region of the Year?

Hope Family Wines has been nominated for Winery of the Year! Commenting on their nomination, Austin Hope states "While I am humbled that we are included for such a thoughtful award amongst other great American wineries, it really is an award that is shared by all of the dedicated and passionate members of the Hope Family Wines team... The power of our team continues to amaze me, and I am excited to continue the journey of creating a global brand that delivers amazing wines from such a special region, for all to enjoy."
