Life is Better Lived Outdoors

Mark Pisoni loves the outdoors. It’s a welcomed attribute when your title is Vineyard Manager at Pisoni Vineyards. Over the years the Pisonis have helped establish the Santa Lucia Highlands as one of California’s top AVAs for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. They have three sites that are SIP Certified: Pisoni, Soberanes, and Garys’ Vineyard. Mark is serious about continuing the family legacy. When not at the vineyard, he can be found backpacking, volunteering as a Boy Scout leader, swimming in the Arroyo Seco River and hiking in Big Sur. With help from his wife, Quinn, and their two children, Mark also farms a quarter-acre, family vegetable garden planted to sweet corn, string beans, pumpkins, strawberries, cucumbers, zucchini, beets and tomatoes.
