Seasons of Sustainability: Summer

Summer is wine tasting season, and it's almost here! Wine tours, events, and the warmer weather are sure to bring many new visitors, eager to taste your wines and learn about what makes your brand special.

Here are some things to do during this Season of Sustainability:

In the Vineyard

• Irrigate based on weather and soil/plant moisture status.
• Finalize crop etimates, contracts, and harvest orders.

In the Winery

• Keep the cellar cool with insulated walls and night fans.
• Clean floors with squeegees and brushes before using high-pressure hoses.

For All

• Complete SIP Certified audits.
• Certify wines.
• Schedule trainings:
  • Harvest forklift
  • Confined space
  • Safety

REMINDER: SIP Certified vineyard and winery inspections are due July 15!
