Review Inspector Comments in the Database (Vineyard Certification)
Once your inspector has reviewed your vineyard documentation in the SIP Certified Database, you should login to see if any additional documentation is required. (See screenshots on page 21 of the Database User Guide.) Login Click Certifications Look for changes under the # Req's and % column (e.g. you had 12/12 # Req's and now have 9/12) Click the Vineyard name Look for the chapters with an exclamation point symbol (!) to the right. Edit Certified Blocks and Acres in the Database
Watch the video tutorial. 1. Login to the database. 2. Click Properties. 3. Click the name of the property you want to edit. 4. Click Blocks and Acres. To make changes, click the name of the Block you want to edit, update the information, and click Submit. To delete, click the trash can icon. Schedule SIP Certified Inspections June 1 Through July 16
Schedule SIP Certified Vineyard & Winery inspections between June 1 and July 16, 2018. Call or email your inspector in May to select a date (Inspector contact information is available online) 1. Login to the database 2. Click Certifications 3. Under Certifications in Progress, below Appl. click the icon (to the right of to your property name) 4. Under Inspection, Inspection Scheduled, select the agreed upon inspection date 5. Under Inspection, Inspector, select the Inspector name from drop down 6. Click Save 7. Important Vineyard/Winery Certification Due Dates
May – Schedule inspection for June 1 – July 14. June 1 - July 14 – Inspections. Documentation should reflect practices from December 1, 2016 up until the inspection unless otherwise specified in the question. After July 25 - Growers with incomplete documentation are subject to a $250-500 late fee penalty. Incomplete inspection reports and documentation are subject to a NOT ELIGIBLE vote. August – Certification Advisory Committee (CAC) votes on eligibility. August/September – SIP staff sends notification of eligibility. September – Payment of certification fees. The SIP Certified cycle is December 1 through November 30.
