SIP Certified for Your Wines

The SIP Certified seal can be used on the label for wines (both estate and purchased fruit) made with at least 85% certified fruit. Using the SIP Certified logo is an easy way for your customers to know that they are buying sustainable wines that give back to the land and community. To get certified wines, wineries complete a short chain of custody inspection. The inspector will randomly select 20% of the applied for wines and contact the applicant for documentation. BRIT Awards Open Invitation

Once your inspector has reviewed your vineyard documentation in the SIP Certified Database, you should login to see if any additional documentation is required. (See screenshots on page 21 of the Database User Guide.) Login Click Certifications Look for changes under the # Req's and % column (e.g. you had 12/12 # Req's and now have 9/12) Click the Vineyard name Look for the chapters with an exclamation point symbol (!) to the right. SIP Certified – Wrath Wines

Wrath Wines represent a nexus of nature and an unbridled passion for wine making. The Thomas family bought San Saba Vineyards in late 2007 and has set out to dramatically change the estate’s wine and viticulture. Wrath is the brainchild of co-owner and wine director Michael Thomas. Michael works closely with his mother Barbara, Wrath’s other owner. Michael combines passion for wine with years of working with soil as an archaeologist.
